Acronis Launches GenAI Protection for Managed Service Providers
Acronis has launched GenAI Protection, a new service designed to help managed service providers monitor and secure generative AI usage across their client environments, announced on the company’s website.
The solution provides visibility into unsanctioned AI use, helps prevent sensitive data from being entered into public AI tools, and blocks harmful or malicious prompts. It is integrated into the Acronis platform, allowing partners to manage AI-related risks without adding separate tools or complex infrastructure.
GenAI Protection is built to address three main areas: monitoring unauthorized AI applications, inspecting prompts for confidential data, and detecting unsafe or manipulative prompts. It is available as part of the Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud service for managed service providers.
The offering targets both generalist and security-focused providers, enabling them to expand their managed security services and support small and medium businesses in adopting AI safely.
