accessiBe Launches Code Agent for GitHub Accessibility Reviews

Sep 17, 2026
Code Agent reviews GitHub pull requests against WCAG 2.2 AA, identifies affected code, and suggests fixes for developers to approve.

accessiBe announced Code Agent in a press release, a beta feature that reviews GitHub pull requests against WCAG 2.2 AA. It identifies the code line causing an accessibility issue and proposes an inline fix that developers can accept, reject, or discuss before merging.

Code Agent runs automatically when a pull request opens or changes, and developers can also start a review manually. Teams can set severity thresholds, exclude files or rules, and require a successful review before code can merge.

The tool supports Vanilla HTML and JavaScript, React, and Next.js. Eligible accessFlow customers can contact their account manager to enable the beta.
