5W and Haute Living Launch Designer AI Visibility Index for Interior Designers
5WPR and Haute Living have launched the Designer AI Visibility Index, a new framework that measures how interior designers, architects, and studios appear across AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude by Anthropic, and Perplexity, announced in a press release.
The Index highlights a gap in AI visibility for many established design firms. Despite having strong editorial coverage and social media presence, many do not appear in AI-generated answers to design-related prompts. The study found that AI systems prioritize structured editorial content and verified citations over social engagement or paid listings.
Alongside the Index, Haute Living introduced the Haute Design Network, a membership program that helps design professionals improve their AI citation and search ranking. The network offers three tiers, each including editorial features, AI visibility audits, and structured online profiles. Founding members include Kobi Karp, Heather Hilliard, Studio Panduro, Balli Group, and Enea Landscape Architecture.
The Designer AI Visibility Index is part of 5W's broader AI Visibility Index Series, which has previously examined sectors such as luxury travel, real estate, and medical aesthetics.
