Verndale Launches AI Visibility and Content Services for Marketers

Oct 7, 2026
Verndale introduced services that measure brand visibility across AI assistants and assess the content operations used to address gaps.

Verndale announced in a press release new services that measure how brands appear in answers from AI assistants and assess the content operations used to improve that visibility. The analysis tracks whether assistants name, recommend and cite a brand, while identifying competing brands, influential sources and claims that conflict with confirmed information.

The agency tests audience questions across ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Perplexity and Claude. In a study for a US graduate school, Verndale collected more than 7,200 answers to over 100 questions and found 21 question and assistant combinations where at least two competitors appeared but the institution did not. It also identified 284 answers that conflicted with a current program fact.

Verndale also introduced assessments covering content planning, creation, review, localization, distribution, measurement and governance. A separate assessment examines where AI agents could support those processes while retaining human approval.
