YY Group Opens Humanoid Robotics Training Lab in Singapore

June 04, 2026
YY Group has launched a Humanoid Robotics Training Lab in Singapore powered by NVIDIA technology, alongside pilot deployments of service robots in retail and hospitality facilities. The initiative expands the company's AI training data program and supports its Human-Robot Co-Working framework.

YY Group announced in a press release the launch of its Humanoid Robotics Training Lab in Singapore, marking the next stage of its AI training data strategy. The facility is powered by NVIDIA accelerated computing technology and forms part of the company's Human-Robot Co-Working framework.

The Singapore lab complements YY Group's existing AI training and data collection facility in Johor, Malaysia. Both sites will capture structured data from real-world human activity across hospitality, retail, and facility management sectors to train and refine humanoid robots for use alongside human workers.

YY Group is also piloting humanoid robot deployments in a Singapore shopping mall and a luxury hotel. These pilots will collect operational and interaction data to improve robots' spatial awareness and task performance while working with human teams.

The company's AI training and automation initiatives support its Agentic and Robotic Automation module, part of a broader four-part AI framework announced earlier in 2026. YY Group stated that these projects are funded through existing resources and do not affect its 2026 revenue guidance of 103 million to 110 million US dollars or its profitability outlook.
