Niural Expands Series A to $52 Million and Launches AI Research Lab
Niural has launched Niural AI Labs, a dedicated research unit focused on creating long-horizon agents for regulated and high-stakes business domains, announced in a press release. The company also added $21 million in new strategic capital, expanding its Series A round to $52 million.
Niural AI Labs will build agents capable of executing complex and regulated tasks with verifiable accuracy. The lab extends Niural’s core platform, which supports payroll, benefits, and compliance operations in over 150 countries. The company said the lab’s breakthroughs will feed directly into its main platform to improve automation, compliance, and operational reliability.
The launch follows Niural’s recent partnership with Aetna in April 2026 and continued growth in its Professional Employment Organization product, which has surpassed $200 million in annualized gross revenue. The new funding round includes participation from FOG Ventures, NewView Capital, and existing investors such as Marathon Management Partners.
Niural AI Labs will serve as the foundation for expanding beyond payroll and benefits into other domains where accuracy and auditability are critical.
