UBTECH Unveils UWORLD U1 Humanoid Robot Series for Mass Production
UBTech Robotics has introduced the UWORLD U1 Series, described as the world’s first full-size ultra-bionic humanoid robots designed for mass production, announced in a press release. The launch took place on June 30, 2026, at the company’s Global Launch Event in Shenzhen.
The UWORLD U1 lineup includes three models: the U1 Lite semi-torso version, the U1 Pro full-body model, and the U1 Ultra high-dynamic edition, with prices starting from 119,800 RMB. UBTECH reported cumulative orders exceeding 13,000 units at the time of launch.
Each robot in the series features 88 degrees of freedom and a proprietary dual-pivot biomimetic cervical spine, enabling replication of most human movements. The system incorporates an emotion-aware large language model capable of recognizing over 20 emotional states with more than 90 percent accuracy. Additional components include a biomimetic expression actuation system with 20-millisecond speech-to-lip synchronization and a dual-layer cognitive architecture for rapid and deep reasoning.
The UWORLD platform integrates UBTECH’s proprietary technology stack, including biomimetic skin, embodied intelligence hardware, operating systems, and a privacy-focused architecture with local-first data processing. The robots are designed for applications such as companionship, hospitality, elder care, research, and education.
UBTECH also announced the Human-Robot Companionship Initiative, which will donate 100 customized U1 robots in 2026 to support children, seniors, and families in need. These units will feature 3D facial reconstruction and voiceprint-based identity replication to provide personalized emotional support.
