WhiteFiber Plans Two More North Carolina Data Center Campuses
WhiteFiber announced in a press release that its subsidiary Enovum Data Centers has agreed to acquire two industrial properties in Yadkin County, North Carolina, for $60 million. The company plans to retrofit the sites into data center campuses named NC-2 and NC-3.
The properties are about 55 miles from WhiteFiber's NC-1 campus in Madison, North Carolina. WhiteFiber said the sites are expected to provide at least 60 MW of initial gross utility capacity, with due diligence indicating possible combined capacity of about 200 MW over time.
WhiteFiber is targeting initial service capacity in the third quarter of 2027, subject to closing and development conditions. The acquisition is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. The company said it is in advanced discussions with prospective customers and has received nonbinding letters of intent with credit support at investment grade.
