Wallarm has launched its next-generation Security Edge solution to address the complexities of API protection, announced in a press release. This new offering aims to provide faster performance, deeper visibility, and stronger API security, particularly in the face of increasing AI-driven attacks.

Security Edge is designed to simplify API protection by offering real-time API traffic visibility, multi-cloud high availability, and mutual TLS (mTLS) encryption. It allows organizations to deploy API protection quickly, with minimal performance impact and without increasing operational complexity or cost.

The platform includes features such as hosted and managed API protection, low latency, and a telemetry portal for real-time operational observability. Additionally, Wallarm offers a free-tier access for startups and small businesses, allowing them to secure up to 500,000 API requests per month at no cost.

With these capabilities, Security Edge aims to make it easier for security teams to adopt robust API security measures without hindering delivery or increasing overhead, ensuring APIs remain fast, protected, and always available across various cloud environments.
