Voyager Global Mobility Integrates Nexar Dashcams for Rideshare Safety
Voyager Global Mobility (VGM) has selected Nexar to provide AI-powered dashcams for its rideshare fleet, announced in a press release. The initiative, part of VGM's Drive Smart program, aims to improve driver safety and streamline insurance claims processing.
Starting in New York City, VGM will initially deploy 2,000 dashcams, with plans to expand to 12,000 units across its global fleet of 11,000 vehicles. Nexar's technology offers real-time incident detection and automatic video recording, providing drivers and fleet operators with direct access to safety insights.
The partnership addresses the insurance crisis in the rideshare industry by reducing liability and enhancing transparency. VGM's investment in Nexar's dashcams also aims to protect drivers from unfair deactivations, offering video evidence to resolve disputes more efficiently.
