Unimarket Adds Beacon AI Assistant to Procurement Platform

Unimarket announced in a press release the launch of Beacon, an AI capability built into its procurement and spend management platform. Beacon uses a chat bot style interface to help procurement, finance, and buying teams find answers inside the platform.

The tool can surface relevant policy information during purchasing, extract key contract and invoice data, and answer questions as they arise. Unimarket said Beacon is built across the platform for sourcing, contracts, purchasing, and invoicing workflows.

Beacon is rolling out across Unimarket markets in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The company serves customers in higher education, healthcare, government, research institutions, and enterprise markets.
