Ultromics Enhances EchoGo with AI Probability Scoring for HFpEF Diagnosis
Ultromics has introduced an AI-powered probability scoring system to its EchoGo® Heart Failure platform, enhancing the diagnosis of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF), announced in a press release. This new feature provides a continuous score indicating the likelihood of HFpEF, offering a more nuanced diagnostic assessment and reducing uncertainty in clinical decision-making.
The EchoGo® Heart Failure platform, which remains the only AI tool capable of identifying HFpEF from routine echocardiograms, now includes this probability scoring system to improve detection accuracy. The platform has been validated in real-world studies at leading clinical sites, demonstrating higher sensitivity in detecting HFpEF and better differentiation between HFpEF and complex control cases compared to traditional methods.
The probability scoring feature is designed to enhance patient risk stratification and clinical workflows by integrating deep learning algorithms that evaluate echocardiogram frames. This advancement aims to minimize diagnostic uncertainty and improve patient management by providing clinicians with a precise probability score and uncertainty estimates for further review.
