Tuya Smart Integrates Mistral AI's Model to Boost AI Hardware in Europe

Feb 13, 2025
Tuya Smart has integrated Mistral AI's Le Chat model into its platform, enhancing AI hardware innovation in Europe.

Tuya Smart, a global cloud platform service provider, has announced the integration of Mistral AI's latest model, Le Chat, into the Tuya Cloud Developer Platform. This integration aims to accelerate AI hardware innovation across Europe by leveraging Le Chat's speed and open-source capabilities.

Le Chat, developed by French startup Mistral AI, is a fully open-source application capable of processing 1,100 tokens per second, making it significantly faster than existing models like ChatGPT. It also offers advanced image generation capabilities and supports both iOS and Android platforms. The model gained significant attention at the Paris AI Summit in February 2025, highlighting Europe's growing influence in the AI sector.

Tuya Smart's integration of Le Chat is part of its strategy to deepen its presence in the European market. The company has established partnerships with leading European brands and is committed to building a smart hardware ecosystem that meets the region's stringent data security requirements. This move aligns with the European Union's comprehensive AI legislation, which emphasizes data security and compliance.

In addition to Mistral AI, Tuya's platform integrates other global models, providing developers with a flexible and efficient AI hardware development solution. This open ecosystem approach lowers the barriers to AI hardware development, enabling European developers to address diverse application challenges effectively.
