Together AI Acquires Refuel.ai to Boost AI Application Development
Together AI has acquired Refuel.ai to enhance its platform's capabilities in developing production-grade AI applications, announced in a press release. This acquisition aims to integrate Refuel's data structuring models and orchestration tools into Together AI's ecosystem, allowing developers to build, deploy, and optimize generative AI applications more efficiently.
Founded in 2021, Refuel.ai specializes in transforming unstructured data into structured datasets, which is crucial for AI applications. Their offerings include Refuel-LLM, a family of models for data tasks, and Refuel Cloud, a platform for developing complex data workflows. These tools have been used in various applications, such as product catalog cleaning and financial document structuring, achieving significantly fewer errors than existing models.
The integration of Refuel.ai's technology will enhance Together AI's platform by providing serverless inference and LoRA fine-tuning capabilities. This will benefit customers by improving data processing speed and accuracy, essential for developing sophisticated AI agents. Additionally, Refuel LLM-2 is now available on Together AI's platform, supporting high-accuracy data workflows.
