Streamline AI Secures $14M to Enhance Legal Operations
Streamline AI has closed $14 million in total funding, including an $8.6 million Series A round led by Blumberg Capital, announced in a press release. The funding will support the expansion of its AI-powered intake and matter management platform, which is designed to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes for in-house legal teams.
Founded in 2020 by Kathy Zhu and Julian Wimbush, Streamline AI addresses the challenges faced by legal departments in managing increasing workloads and complex legal requests. The platform's AI capabilities include automated information extraction from emails and a conversational assistant to handle routine inquiries, freeing up attorney time for more critical tasks.
Streamline AI's platform is already trusted by legal teams at companies such as Gusto, 8x8, Acorns, and Bloom Energy. It supports over 500 in-house lawyers, offering features like matter management, cross-functional collaboration, and AI-powered knowledge management. The company aims to further enhance its offerings with new integrations and custom extensions to meet the growing demand from mid-market and enterprise legal departments.
