Tines Survey Reveals AI's Role in Security Teams' Success
Tines, in collaboration with AWS, has released the IDC White Paper, Voice of Security 2025, which highlights the role of AI in the success of security teams. Announced in a press release, the survey found that 88% of security teams are meeting or exceeding their performance goals despite rising workloads and limited staff.
The survey, which included over 900 security decision-makers from the US, Europe, and Australia, revealed that 98% of security leaders are embracing AI, with only 5% fearing job replacement by AI. The report also noted that while AI and automation are seen as valuable tools for eliminating business siloes, challenges such as training time, compliance, and secure adoption remain.
Additionally, the survey found that most security teams manage between 20 to 49 tools, yet many report issues with integration and functionality gaps. Despite these challenges, security leaders are optimistic about the potential of AI to improve collaboration and streamline operations across security, IT, and DevOps functions.
