Term Structure Labs Launches Fixed-Rate Digital Asset Platform
Term Structure Labs Limited has launched Term Structure Institutional (TSI), a platform designed to provide fixed-rate lending and borrowing infrastructure for digital assets to institutional clients. This includes hedge funds, asset managers, and qualified financial institutions, announced in a press release. TSI integrates Fireblocks Multi-Party Computation (MPC) wallet technology with an Electronic Communication Network (ECN) to facilitate predictable fixed-term financing.
The platform offers two operational modes: DeFi Mode, which allows anonymous trading with automated smart contract settlement, and Indication Mode, which supports bilateral transactions with customized terms. TSI ensures enterprise security through Fireblocks' 2-of-2 MPC signature scheme, providing distributed key management and meeting institutional compliance requirements.
TSI aims to address challenges such as unpredictable funding in open-term markets and security concerns in decentralized protocols. It offers transparent benchmarks and standardized terms, supporting institutional transaction sizes with dedicated onboarding and integration support for qualified market participants.
