Teradata Reports First Quarter 2026 Results with Growth in Cloud and Recurring Revenue

Teradata reported total annual recurring revenue of $1.492 billion for the first quarter of 2026, with public cloud ARR rising 13% year over year and recurring revenue up 12%.

Teradata announced in a press release its financial results for the first quarter of 2026, reporting total annual recurring revenue of $1.492 billion, a 3 percent increase from the same period last year. Public cloud annual recurring revenue reached $686 million, marking a 13 percent increase year over year.

Recurring revenue for the quarter was $400 million, up 12 percent as reported. The company generated $401 million in cash flow from operations and $390 million in free cash flow, which included a pre-tax net benefit of $359 million related to a settlement with SAP.

Teradata stated it outperformed key growth and performance metrics in the quarter and highlighted its focus on autonomous AI and knowledge capabilities as core elements of its platform. The company said it is positioned to support enterprises deploying agentic AI across hybrid environments.
