TANGLE launches Naviu AI travel app for Japan
TANGLE Inc. launches its Naviu travel app for iOS and Android on November 1, according to a company press release. The app combines AI guidance with augmented reality navigation for travelers in Japan.
Naviu answers questions about nearby places in 29 languages using the traveler's location. It also provides a transparent augmented reality path over streets, an optional virtual companion, photo recognition and personalized trip planning based on interests, dietary needs, accessibility and available time.
The app uses patent pending geospatial technology to place navigation and other augmented reality content across cities without a visual positioning system. Experiences are available at locations including Sensoji, Tokyo Skytree, Tokyo Tower, Meiji Jingu and Tokyo Station.
