Sumsub Enables AI Agents to Build Compliance Setups with MCP Integration

June 18, 2026
Sumsub has introduced Model Context Protocol integration and AI agent skills, allowing AI models like Claude and ChatGPT to build and configure compliance environments automatically from policy documents.

Sumsub has launched its Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration along with new AI agent skills, announced in a press release. The update makes Sumsub the first verification and compliance platform to allow AI agents such as Claude and ChatGPT to access and configure the full setup layer of its system.

Through this integration, AI agents can read compliance policy documents and automatically generate a configured Sumsub environment. This includes creating verification levels, risk questionnaires, and onboarding workflows directly in the customer dashboard. Tasks that previously required days of manual setup can now be completed in minutes.

The integration is model agnostic and works with any major AI agent. Sumsub has released open source agent skills on GitHub, installable with a single command. Access to the MCP integration is controlled by permissions, ensuring sensitive actions occur in a sandbox and are reviewed by humans before implementation.

Sumsub is also now the first verification platform listed on the ChatGPT Apps platform, with further integrations under discussion with additional large language models. Full documentation and agent skills are available through Sumsub's developer resources.
