
Stagwell Appoints John Kahan as Chief AI Officer
Stagwell has appointed John Kahan as its inaugural Chief AI Officer, announced in a press release. Kahan, who brings nearly four decades of experience in data and artificial intelligence, will report to Mark Penn, Stagwell's Chairman and CEO. His role will focus on integrating and developing AI across Stagwell's global network.
Kahan's extensive background includes significant tenures at Microsoft and IBM, where he contributed to product development, marketing, and strategic counsel. Most recently, he served as Vice President and Chief Data Analytics Officer at Microsoft, playing a key role in the development of data platforms that were crucial to Microsoft's growth.
Mark Penn commented on the appointment, highlighting Kahan's leadership as essential for advancing Stagwell's AI initiatives and providing value to clients. Kahan expressed enthusiasm about joining Stagwell at a time of rapid innovation in AI and marketing technology.
