SAS Introduces AI Governance Map to Enhance AI Maturity
SAS has launched the AI Governance Map, a comprehensive resource aimed at helping organizations assess their AI governance maturity, announced in a press release. This tool is designed to guide organizations through their AI governance journeys by evaluating their current maturity in four key areas and providing a roadmap for improvement.
The AI Governance Map is part of a broader portfolio of AI governance offerings from SAS, which includes technologies for data governance, model monitoring, and compliance management. These resources are intended to complement existing technology investments and help organizations build a complete AI governance lifecycle.
SAS's new offerings have been validated by industry analysts, with the company being named a category leader in model risk management solutions by Chartis for the 11th consecutive year. The AI Governance Map and its accompanying online assessment provide organizations with a customized report and action plan, benchmarking them against industry peers in oversight, compliance, operations, and culture.
SAS plans to launch a unified AI governance solution later this year, which will aggregate, orchestrate, and monitor AI systems, models, and agents. This solution aims to align AI with organizational policies, improve operational efficiencies, and support organizations in navigating their AI journeys with confidence.
