Samdesk Partners with Prescient Security for FedRAMP Certification
Samdesk, a leading AI crisis detection and monitoring platform, has partnered with Prescient Security to pursue FedRAMP certification. This collaboration marks a significant step for Samdesk in becoming an authorized cloud service provider within the FedRAMP Marketplace, ensuring compliance with federal security requirements.
Prescient Security will act as a third-party assessment organization (3PAO) to evaluate Samdesk's Systems Security Plan (SSP) and related security controls. This assessment is crucial for Samdesk to achieve FedRAMP Moderate status, which will support its services for state, local, and federal clients.
Samdesk has a history of providing crisis detection solutions to sensitive environments, including NATO and the UK Ministry of Defense. Achieving FedRAMP certification will enable Samdesk to expand its offerings securely across various sectors, such as national security, health, and transportation, providing government entities with critical information to manage crises effectively.
The partnership with Prescient Security follows a successful SOC 2 audit, reinforcing Samdesk's commitment to high security standards. This move is part of Samdesk's broader strategy to safeguard data and ensure compliance with global regulations, enhancing its ability to deliver early warnings and insights to government clients.
