Commvault to Acquire Satori Cyber for Enhanced Data Security
Commvault has announced its intent to acquire Satori Cyber, a data and AI security company, announced in a press release. This acquisition aims to enhance Commvault's cyber resilience platform by integrating Satori's capabilities in data security and AI governance.
The acquisition will enable Commvault to offer improved compliance support, risk mitigation, and access control for sensitive data across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Satori's technology includes real-time, agentless controls and deep visibility into structured and AI training data, which will be integrated into Commvault's existing solutions.
The deal is expected to close in August 2025, further strengthening Commvault's position in the data protection and cyber resilience market.
