RELEX adds agent orchestration to RELEX Open

RELEX Solutions unveiled new agent orchestration capabilities for its RELEX Open platform, the company said in a press release. The platform connects AI tools, agents and business systems across supply chain planning, merchandising and operations.

RELEX Open now combines three functions. It provides existing AI tools for forecasting, replenishment, merchandising, pricing and operations. Customers and partners can extend the platform through APIs, Model Context Protocol and plugins, while an orchestration layer lets agents share context and coordinate recommendations across business functions.

A shared knowledge graph maps relationships among processes, systems, teams, decisions and performance measures. The platform also includes controls for data access, recommendations and agent actions, with human oversight and records explaining how recommendations were produced.

RELEX is working with Sprouts Farmers Market to refine store replenishment tools using feedback from store employees. It is also developing applications with a European food retailer, including a supplier planning tool that moved into production within weeks.
