Covetrus has deployed forecasting and replenishment software from RELEX Solutions across its US distribution network, the company said in a press release. The veterinary wholesaler operates 28 distribution centers and manages more than 10,000 products.

The software automates forecasting tasks, supports planning for individual sales channels and manages inventory across the distribution network. Covetrus uses its scenario and collaborative planning tools to reduce inventory days of supply while maintaining service levels.

Demandtex supported the implementation. Covetrus selected the platform to replace legacy planning processes and coordinate sales, finance, operations and inventory teams.
