Quest Software Expands Identity Security for Rogue AI Agents

Quest Software announced in a press release an expansion of its Security Management Platform for managing risks from human, machine and AI agent identities. The platform covers identity protection, attack containment and recovery across Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.

The expansion adds Quest Identity Insights for mapping access to critical systems and Agentic AI Defense for isolating compromised identities. Secure Replay, now in private preview, uses AI to separate malicious changes from legitimate activity and restore systems to a known safe state.

Quest also introduced Guardian Managed Recovery Services for Active Directory and Entra ID, along with Secure Migration for finding excess privileges, stale accounts and vulnerable devices before migrations. The platform integrates with Microsoft Sentinel and Security Copilot and works alongside Defender for Identity.
