PDW Introduces C100 Multi-Mission Payload Suite for U.S. Army Operations

October 20, 2025
PDW has launched a new Multi-Mission Payload (MMP) suite for its C100 platform, enhancing communication, navigation, and spectrum awareness capabilities for the U.S. Army under a $20.9 million award.

PDW has introduced a new Multi-Mission Payload (MMP) suite for its C100 platform, expanding its operational capabilities in contested environments, announced in a press release. The enhancement aims to improve communication, navigation, and spectrum awareness for battlefield operations.

The MMP suite includes three payloads: the CACI Mastodon FireBeast for spectrum awareness, the Silvus StreamCaster for mobile ad hoc network (MANET) communications relay, and PDW’s A-PNT Vision-Based Navigation system. These payloads enable the C100 to operate without GPS, provide extended communication reach, and enhance situational awareness during missions.

The U.S. Army has awarded PDW a $20.9 million contract to supply C100 units and MMPs in support of its 'Transformation in Contact' initiative. The payload suite can be integrated into existing C100 systems or purchased preconfigured, with updated training now available for interoperability and mission readiness.

PDW partnered with established defense technology providers to develop the payloads, ensuring compatibility with the Army’s current systems and readiness for immediate deployment.
