PATEO Partners with NVIDIA to Launch Integrated AI Box for Vehicles

PATEO has announced a collaboration with NVIDIA to develop an integrated software and hardware AI box solution for vehicles, powered by the NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor platform. The system aims to support large AI models in automotive applications and enable deployment across major automakers.

PATEO has partnered with NVIDIA to create an integrated software and hardware AI box solution for vehicles, announced in a press release. The system is built on the NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor accelerated computing platform and is designed to support large AI models for in-vehicle use.

The collaboration will enable PATEO to deploy its AI box in intelligent vehicle projects for mainstream automakers. The company has also received a nomination from a leading new energy vehicle manufacturer for a next-generation intelligent model that will incorporate this AI box solution.

According to PATEO, the project marks the first vehicle-integrated AI box combining ByteDance's general large model with PATEO's edge large model. The companies have begun deployment across vehicle-side scenarios such as physical AI, AI agents, and AI emotional agents, and are exploring new business models like computing power charging and vehicle-mounted token billing.

The partnership aims to accelerate the transition of on-vehicle large models from technical verification to mass production, supporting the development of Level 3 and Level 4 autonomous driving systems.
