Orbit Financial Technology Introduces Agent Builder for Custom AI Research Agents

Orbit Financial Technology has launched Agent Builder, a new feature in Orbit Insight that allows institutional investment teams to create custom research agents through conversation, reducing setup time from weeks to minutes.

Orbit Financial Technology has introduced Agent Builder, a self-service feature within its Orbit Insight platform that enables institutional investment teams to create their own AI research agents through conversational interaction, announced in a press release.

The company stated that workflows which previously required weeks of custom development can now be built in minutes without engineering support. Each agent created through Agent Builder is automatically accessible as an MCP endpoint, allowing integration into existing systems.

Agent Builder is designed to simplify the customization of research tools for asset managers, hedge funds, and quantitative analysis teams. Users can configure agents for specific workflows such as stock screening, corporate dashboards, or industry monitoring, and adjust them as needed to maintain accuracy.

Orbit’s founder and CEO, Da Wei, said the feature provides investment teams with the flexibility to define their own research processes directly within the platform they already use.
