OpenText Joins OECD Hiroshima AI Process Reporting Framework
OpenText has joined the OECD's Hiroshima AI Process (HAIP) Reporting Framework, announced in a press release. The framework serves as an international system where organizations demonstrate alignment with the G7's voluntary code of conduct for the safe development and deployment of advanced AI.
OpenText stated that its participation builds on its long-standing focus on data governance and security. The company manages three key data domains for enterprise AI: human data, such as documents and records; machine data from IT and cybersecurity systems; and transaction data from global business networks. Its Aviator AI solutions operate within this ecosystem, applying security, compliance, and data lineage to each AI interaction.
According to the company, joining HAIP extends its earlier commitment to Canada's Voluntary Code of Conduct on the Responsible Development and Management of Advanced Generative AI Systems. OpenText said this step connects its domestic efforts to G7-wide standards and supports international collaboration on responsible AI governance.
