OpenCV to Expand Native Windows Support for Snapdragon X

The Open Source Vision Foundation and Qualcomm Technologies plan to improve native OpenCV support for Windows devices using Snapdragon X Series processors.

The Open Source Vision Foundation, which operates OpenCV, announced in a press release a collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies to improve native OpenCV support for Windows devices using Snapdragon X Series processors.

The work will cover native OpenCV binaries, automated infrastructure for building and testing, performance optimization, and application compatibility. The project will progress from experimental native builds toward validated releases distributed through open source channels.

OpenCV provides software tools for image processing, computer vision, and AI. Technical updates will be published as the project reaches new milestones.
