Oxipital AI Adds Contaminant Detection to Food Inspection Platform

Oct 16, 2026
Oxipital AI introduces a vision system that detects and classifies foreign materials on food production lines, triggers automated responses, and records inspection data.

Oxipital AI launches Foreign Material Detection for high speed food production lines, the company said in a press release. The vision system runs on its existing OX and VX hardware and is already operating in production environments.

The system uses models trained with synthetic data to identify materials including plastic, wood, cardboard, metal, bone fragments, and protective equipment. Oxipital AI reports detection accuracy of up to 99 percent, although objects outside the camera view or too small to resolve at operating speed may not be detected.

V-CORTX can classify detected material and connect to line controls for automated responses. Depending on severity, it can slow or stop a line. Its analytics dashboard records timestamps, images, classifications, dimensions, throughput, and yield data for each inspection event.

Oxipital AI will demonstrate the capability at Pack Expo in Chicago from October 18 to 21.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
