NVIDIA Invests $2 Billion in Synopsys to Expand AI and Digital Twin Collaboration
NVIDIA and Synopsys have announced an expanded strategic partnership to advance AI-driven design and engineering, according to a press release. The collaboration includes a $2 billion investment by NVIDIA in Synopsys common stock.
The multi-year initiative will integrate NVIDIA’s CUDA accelerated computing, agentic and physical AI technologies, and Omniverse digital twin platforms with Synopsys software. The goal is to enable faster and more scalable simulations that surpass traditional CPU-based methods.
Both companies plan to accelerate Synopsys applications using NVIDIA’s GPU infrastructure, develop AI engineering tools, and link physical and digital environments through digital twin solutions. They will also pursue joint go-to-market programs as part of the partnership.
