MAXHUB Experts Lead Two New IEC Standard Proposals on AI Visual Interaction and Education Systems
MAXHUB experts have proposed two new international standards that received preliminary approval during the 11th IEC/TC100 meetings in Budapest, announced in a press release. The proposals will now move forward to a Preliminary Work Item ballot under the International Electrotechnical Commission.
The first proposal, led by Li Qin, is titled "User's Quality of Experience of AI-mediated Visual Interaction on Multimedia Conferencing Services." It focuses on establishing standardized evaluation methods for user experience in conferencing scenarios that involve AI-mediated visual interaction. The goal is to provide a unified framework for assessing and improving user experience in intelligent multimedia conferencing systems.
The second proposal, led by Chen Cai, is called "Audio, Video and Multimedia Systems and Equipment for Education and Training." It aims to create a comprehensive standard system for educational applications, covering hardware configuration and end-user experience in education and training environments.
According to the release, MAXHUB has participated in more than 100 national and industrial standardization projects. These two new proposals mark its advancement from participant to leader in global standardization efforts within the audio-visual industry.
