MatrixSpace Integrates Dell NativeEdge for Enhanced Public Safety Solutions
MatrixSpace has announced the integration of Dell NativeEdge to enhance its AI-powered radar solutions for public safety and smart city applications, announced in a press release. The MatrixSpace 360 Radar, now powered by Dell's edge computing technology, offers real-time object detection and classification, improving situational awareness without relying on cloud processing.
The integration with Dell NativeEdge boosts the speed, security, and scalability of MatrixSpace's radar sensor solutions. This collaboration aims to support next-generation public safety programs and smart city initiatives by providing a 360-degree field of view and industry-leading detection range for aircraft and small drones.
The City of Palm Springs Police Department is among the first to deploy this integrated solution, utilizing it in their "Drone as First Responder" program. This system allows drones to be dispatched immediately to emergency scenes, aiding in de-escalation, suspect location, and search and rescue missions.
By working with Dell Technologies, MatrixSpace is laying the groundwork for future public safety and security programs, as well as the advancement of drone delivery and autonomous air mobility.
