Lowe's has introduced Mylow Companion, an AI tool designed to enhance customer service and streamline onboarding for associates across its stores, announced in a press release.

Lowe's Companies, Inc. has launched Mylow Companion, an AI tool aimed at improving customer service and expediting the onboarding process for its retail associates, announced in a press release. This marks the first time a retailer has implemented such technology at scale across more than 1,700 stores.

Mylow Companion is designed for use on sales floor devices, providing associates with quick access to product details, project advice, and inventory information. This tool is built on the same foundation as Mylow, Lowe's customer-facing virtual advisor, and was developed in collaboration with OpenAI.

The AI assistant allows associates to use natural, conversational prompts, including voice-to-text, to deliver actionable information. This capability aims to make associates more knowledgeable, regardless of their experience level, and enhance the overall customer experience in Lowe's stores.
