Tulip Retail Expands Clienteling Platform for Team Customer Engagement

Tulip Retail announced in a press release an expansion of Tulip Clienteling that lets retail teams collectively manage customer conversations. The platform supports both team service and the existing model in which individual associates manage assigned customers.

Shared Inbox lets available associates continue conversations using common customer context and history. Unified Inbox combines email, SMS and WhatsApp messages, while Outreach Plus supports shared customer books, assigned customer books and automated campaigns. A WhatsApp Business integration adds messaging and campaigns alongside email and SMS.

Tulip AI generates customer summaries, suggests relevant products and helps associates prepare personalized messages. Retailers can decide which activities are automated, reviewed by an associate or handled entirely by staff. Tulip developed and tested the expanded capabilities with more than 20 customer partners.
