L'Oréal Luxe and Dataland Create AI-Driven Olfactory Experience in Los Angeles
L'Oréal Luxe has partnered with Dataland, the new immersive art and sensory AI museum founded by Refik Anadol and Efsun Erkılıç, to create a unique olfactory experience. The collaboration was announced in a press release.
Opening on June 20, 2026, in Los Angeles, Dataland will feature five galleries covering 2,300 square meters with a display resolution of 1.5 billion pixels. The inaugural exhibition, titled *Machine Dreams: Rainforest*, will integrate twelve fragrances designed by L'Oréal Luxe in partnership with Refik Anadol Studio.
Each scent is inspired by the Amazon rainforest and will be diffused dynamically in real time, adapting to the artworks and visitor movements. The installation transforms digital art into a multisensory experience that blends visual and olfactory expression.
