Lightbeam Health Solutions Reports $444 Million in ACO Savings for 2024

Lightbeam Health Solutions announced that its clients in the Medicare Shared Savings Program generated over $444 million in gross savings during 2024, outperforming national averages in both cost reduction and quality scores.

Lightbeam Health Solutions generated more than $444 million in gross savings for Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) participating in the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) in 2024, announced in a press release. Lightbeam clients achieved an average savings rate of 5.02%, compared to 4.72% for non-Lightbeam ACOs, and produced an average of $16.4 million in savings per ACO.

The company reported that its clients also maintained higher quality scores, averaging 83.02% versus 81.83% for non-Lightbeam participants. ACOs that used Lightbeam’s Advisory Services achieved the strongest results, averaging $16.6 million in savings per ACO and nearly two percentage points higher quality scores than peers.

Lightbeam stated that its advisory team works closely with ACOs to improve performance through data-driven strategies, including remote patient monitoring, artificial intelligence, and targeted care gap interventions. The company has now surpassed $3 billion in gross MSSP savings and $5 billion in total value-based care savings since the program’s inception.
