Leidos Wins Multiple Awards to Modernize IT for U.S. State Department

Leidos will support modernization of global IT systems for the U.S. Department of State through four awards under the agency's Evolve contract, announced in a press release. The initiative will enhance secure access to critical systems and data used by U.S. diplomats across embassies and consulates worldwide.

The company received awards in four functional areas: cloud and data center services, application development services, network and telecommunications services, and customer and end user support. The Evolve contract is a multiple award, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity agreement with a one-year base period and six option years, valued up to ten billion dollars.

Leidos will provide services aimed at strengthening cybersecurity, modernizing applications and infrastructure, and improving the reliability of IT operations across the State Department's global network. The company plans to apply automation, continuous monitoring, and AI driven operations to enhance cyber defenses and information sharing.

This work supports Leidos' NorthStar 2030 strategy, which focuses on digital modernization, cybersecurity, and IT transformation for government clients.
