Kosmos Brings Risk Detection and Root Cause Analysis to Slack

Sep 16, 2026
Kosmos launched a Slack integration that lets support and engineering teams review risk events and receive root cause analysis updates within their existing channels.

Kosmos announced in a press release a Slack integration that brings its risk event workflow into channels used by support and engineering teams. The company introduced the integration alongside Dreamforce 2026.

When Kosmos detects a potential risk event, it posts a summary and supporting evidence to a designated Slack channel. Teams can confirm or dismiss the event in Slack, while confirmed events can be promoted to root cause analysis. Updates and summaries from that analysis also appear in the channel.

Kosmos connects data from Salesforce, Jira, GitHub, ServiceNow, Datadog, Grafana and Splunk to identify and correlate potential risk events. The company also opened a general preview of Salesforce Error Monitoring, which surfaces execution failures such as Flow failures and governor limit errors alongside related customer cases, code changes and infrastructure incidents.
