Knox Systems Supports DoD's SWFT Initiative for Secure Software Deployment

Knox Systems is backing the Department of Defense's Software Fast Track (SWFT) initiative, which aims to transform the assessment, authorization, and deployment of software in defense missions. Announced in a press release, Knox Systems has submitted responses to SWFT's Requests for Information (RFIs) on Tools, External Assessment Methodologies, and Automation & AI.
Knox's AI-native platform, KnoxAI, is already operational, providing real-time risk assessments and automating compliance for agencies such as the U.S. Marine Corps and the NRO. The platform ingests SBOMs and telemetry, contextualizes vulnerabilities, and autogenerates necessary documentation, facilitating faster paths to Authorization to Operate (ATO).
The SWFT initiative is a response to the need for more efficient cybersecurity processes, as traditional methods are considered too slow for today's software-driven landscape. Knox Systems' involvement reflects its ongoing commitment to enhancing secure software deployment in government settings.
