Appdome Adds Remote Management for Live Mobile App Security Updates
Appdome announced in a press release Remote Management, a capability that lets customers update approved mobile app security, fraud prevention, and bot defense policies in live published apps without rebuilding or republishing them.
The feature changes the configuration or behavior of protections already present in an app. Appdome said it does not add new features or executable code, which still require the normal build and release process.
Remote Management supports updates across configuration, trust settings, signaling, and enforcement. Examples include keys, certificates, approved or blocked domains, backend risk signals, app messages, data handling, and policy responses.
Each update uses a request, approve, deploy workflow. AI assisted guidance helps teams review possible impact and conflicts, while submissions, approvals, rejections, withdrawals, expirations, acknowledgements, and deployments are recorded in Appdome Vault.
Remote Management is available now to Appdome customers licensed for the capability. The company plans to demonstrate it at Black Hat USA 2026 in Las Vegas.
