Inspiren Raises $70M for Senior Living AI

Inspiren raised $70 million in Series C funding at a valuation above $500 million. The company will expand sales, hardware and its AI platform for senior living communities.

Inspiren raised $70 million in Series C funding at a valuation above $500 million, the company announced in a press release. The round was led by NewView Capital, with participation from Insight Partners, Primary Venture Partners and other investors.

Inspiren provides AI powered ambient awareness technology for senior living communities. Its platform combines environmental information with resident and community data to detect emergencies and changes in residents' conditions. The company also expanded its eCall system with voice communication and tools that show which care team member is responding to an alert.

The funding brings Inspiren's total capital raised to $225 million. The company plans to expand sales, develop its hardware and improve its AI platform. Inspiren reported that customers using its technology recorded fewer falls, hospitalizations and emergency room visits, as well as faster staff response times.
