Personal AI assistant startup Instinct raised $1 billion in a Series C round, increasing its valuation to $10 billion. Sequoia Capital, Benchmark and Coatue participated.

Instinct raised $1 billion in a Series C round that valued the personal AI assistant startup at $10 billion, according to SiliconANGLE. Investors included Sequoia Capital, Benchmark and Coatue.

The financing follows a $250 million round completed one month earlier at a $2.5 billion valuation. Instinct, officially Spear Street Technology Inc., remains in early access.

Its assistant can use a virtual phone and computer to complete tasks such as booking reservations, ordering groceries, canceling subscriptions and arranging appointments. It can also coordinate plans and exchange files with the Instinct assistants of trusted contacts.
