
Hypertec Cloud Acquires 5C Data Centers to Form 5C Group
Hypertec Cloud has acquired 5C Data Centers, creating 5C Group, one of the largest AI digital infrastructure providers in North America, announced in a press release. This acquisition marks the spin-off of Hypertec Cloud from its parent company, Hypertec Group, and the establishment of 5C Group as an independent entity.
Jonathan Ahdoot has been appointed CEO of 5C Group, which combines Hypertec Cloud's high-performance cloud computing capabilities with 5C Data Centers' extensive U.S. footprint. The new entity aims to deliver comprehensive AI digital infrastructure solutions, accelerate deployment timelines, and optimize performance and costs through advanced cooling technologies.
5C Group's portfolio includes over 600 megawatts of AI-optimized data center capacity, part of a total 2 gigawatts, available for deployment within the next 6 to 18 months. The platform is designed to meet the extreme demands of AI workloads, laying the foundation for future AI innovation.
