CVC DIF to Acquire Majority Stake in firstcolo
CVC DIF has agreed to acquire a significant majority stake in firstcolo GmbH from CUBE Infrastructure, the company announced in a press release.
The investment will be made through CVC DIF Value Add IV. firstcolo's founders will remain active in the management team and keep an equity stake in the company.
firstcolo's FRA7 data center in Rosbach, Germany, is planned for total capacity of up to 24 MW, with IT load of up to 16 MW. The site is designed for high density racks with liquid cooling that support up to 200 kW per rack.
The transaction is expected to close by the end of September 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
