The HR Policy Association has rebranded as the CHRO Association and introduced a new Center on Workplace AI to expand its expertise in applying artificial intelligence to workforce management and policy.

The HR Policy Association has rebranded as the CHRO Association, effective immediately, announced in a press release. The organization represents approximately 400 of the world’s largest employers and aims to strengthen its role as a leading voice for chief human resource officers.

As part of the rebrand, the CHRO Association introduced a new Center on Workplace AI. The center will focus on developing expertise in the use of artificial intelligence to build high-performing workplaces. It joins the association’s existing Center on Executive Compensation in providing research, policy insights, and a peer network for HR executives.

The leadership team remains in place, with Tim Bartl continuing as CEO, Ani Huang expanding her role as president of policy and practice, and Henry Eickelberg serving as chief experience officer. The association, originally founded in the 1960s as the Labor Policy Association, said the rebrand reflects the evolving responsibilities of CHROs in guiding workforce strategy amid digital and AI transformation.
