Staffmark Group Sets 2026 AI Targets and Launches Human-Centered Workforce Series
Staffmark Group announced in a press release that it has set measurable AI performance targets for 2026 and launched a three-part thought leadership series titled "Finding Heart in the Agentic Era." The initiative focuses on applying agentic AI to enhance human relationships in staffing rather than replace them.
The company aims to reduce average time to hire by four days using AI-assisted screening and scheduling, increase recruiter interview capacity from 14.3 to 18.5 per week, return about 60 hours per recruiter per year to candidate engagement, and free up 30 percent of recruiter capacity through automated workflows.
The new series, authored by CEO Stacey Lane, explores how agentic AI can be integrated responsibly into workforce operations. The first installment addresses the pitfalls of speed-focused automation, the second outlines a framework for managing AI agents with defined roles and accountability, and the third, due later in May, will detail how the company tests AI in live work environments through its Mobile Innovation Lab.
Lane stated that AI agents are intended to expand recruiter capacity and strengthen relationships, while Vice President of Digital Strategy and Transformation Radi Jaarsma emphasized that effective AI must be tested within real employment settings.
